We have run specialty trade companies and been through the sale. We built the firm we wished we had in that room.
Why we exist.
long run was started by operators, not advisors. We watched good owners reach the biggest decision of their working life with no straight read on the business, and no one neutral in the room. So we built one: a firm paid to grow the business, not to push it out the door, and willing to tell you what to do, including when the answer is wait.
We do this differently, on purpose.
The usual model hands an owner's biggest decision to someone paid only when a deal closes. We think that fails owners. So we start with the truth and get paid across the relationship, for the work, not the transaction. We are new at this, and we are not shy about it. That is the point.
How we keep it.
We are not a wealth manager. Past that, we keep it simple: we do the work well, and we do right by the people we work for. That is the whole thing.
