long run keeps this simple. We collect as little as possible, we do not sell your data, and we do not track you across the web. Here is exactly what happens when you use this site.
What this page covers
Two surfaces. This site at longrunready.com, and The Read at read.longrunready.com. They are one company and one product, and they hold different things. Both are below.
This site
Anonymous, aggregate analytics that count page views and measure performance. No cookies, no advertising tracker, no cross-site profile. This site does not create an account and does not store anything about you on your device.
The numbers you enter on the home page
The calculator runs in your browser. Nothing you type into it is sent to us.
When you choose Start privately, those two numbers ride to The Read in the part of the link after the # sign. Browsers never send that part to a server, so those figures do not reach our logs, or anyone else's. They do stay in your browser history and in the link itself, so a copied link or a screenshot of the address bar carries them. If that matters to you, open read.longrunready.com directly and enter the numbers there.
The Read
The Read stores your answers and an anonymous id in your browser, on the device you use, so you can come back to a run in progress. Your answers go to our server to produce your range. If you ask for your read by email, we hold your address to send it. The Read carries its own privacy detail, and a way to clear your answers.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your message and reply. We keep it only as long as we need it to help you.
Booking a call
Talk to a senior advisor opens Cal.com, a separate company. What you enter there is theirs, under their terms. We receive the booking and your email address.
Third parties
Vercel hosts this site. Cal.com runs booking. That is the list.
How long we keep things
The numbers you type into the calculator on the home page are never sent to us, so there is nothing here to keep.
If you email us, we hold the message as long as we need it to help you. Anything you enter in The Read is covered on its own page.
You can ask us to delete anything we hold about you. Write to ready@longrunready.com and we will.
Your choices
You can use most of the site without entering anything. You can block analytics with any standard content blocker and the site still works. You can run The Read without giving us your name.
